NuraLogix is proud to be a community partner and collaborator along with the University of Toronto and St. Michael’s hospital in a project called:

Keeping everyone safe: Using contactless Transdermal Optical Imaging to obtain patient vitals and symptom report in the time of COVID-19.

Transdermal Optical Imaging (TOI) is the underlying technology used by Anura mobile phone app to measure key vitals like: Heart Rate, Breathing, HRV, and Blood Pressure. Anura uses the built-in camera in a smartphone or tablet to take a 30s “selfie” video. This version of Anura runs on a tablet and responds to voice commands making it completely contactless!

One of the stated benefits of this project is to minimize the exposure of frontline hospital staff to people who are possibly carriers/infected with COVID, ensuring they themselves remain healthy.

This project is funded by a grant from the University of Toronto.
